No placeable scenery foliage?

I watched several gameplay videos by now and it really seems like there's not a single placeable tree in the game and we're stuck with imprecise and terribly limited foliage brushes again.

Why was this left out of the game when it was added due to such high demand in the first one? It just seems like such a huge step back and adds yet again an unnecessary limitation when it comes to creating parks and being creative in designing our enclosures. Please reconsider this and give us plants in addidtion to the rocks we already got and get rid of the hindering hitboxes for all of them in the process. I just don't see why there shouldn't be any placeable trees and bushes to fill in the large empty gaps the foliage brushes leave between buildings and to flash out our enclosures. We already have the rocks so why not foliage as well?

And btw, it would be really cool if we could mix the different foliage from the brushes as well instead of one replacing the other like it currently seems to work. That'd also add another layer of creative options when it comes to building our parks.

Wait. What?!

I hope this is wrong and there's trees in scenery. That seems pretty basic to me.

My upset with the last scenery patch for jwe1 was the fact that there wasn't enough trees. All I really wanted was a single palm tree. Just one, tall and proud.

Okay, now the game is here and I can't say how disappointing it is to see that this actually happened.

Just why? What on earth was the reasoning behind cutting out one of the most requested features of the first game?! You should think that'd be something to expand on and what did we get? Nothing. Not a single tiny plant. No way to fill in gaps the lackluster foliage brushes leave all over, no way to make elaborate and detailed habitat and park designs, byebye customization and individul parks.

I honestly can't belive we actually have to beg for this to be readded again after we already did so much of that when the first game came without any placable scenery foliage and rocks as well. It's just a bad decision all around and a huge step back again which really shouldn't have happened in the first place.

It's mind-boggling they decided to leave out something so basic and necessary.
The dinosaurs look amazing, but then you go to decorate your park and there's practically nothing to decorate with.

I was surprised to see the "decorations" tab and then how little it contained, not to mention the lack of trees. I'm not thrilled that the game forces me to create weird paddocks, because each species of dinosaur must have a certain percentage of a given type of plant.

This was such a given that the game would have this. These things need to be in game at launch/as quick as possible.

I honestly feel like I shouldn't have to type this.
I'm not a diehard player, I played the first one when it came out and it was stuff like this that made me bored of it and not recommend to friends who were considering it. Even though I had fun for a little while. It wasn't $60 fun. This game cost $60. Let me add a palm tree.

Amazing, removed something that was added to the last game because of fan demand.

But hey, at least we have annoying power generators which cost 500k to refill....

I miss the trees and the decorations are lacking. Decorations were hugely requested so it's odd it's so light. I hope trees and more decorations come soon.
