Originally inspired by the New Orleans Audubon zoo (though now far different from it), the Nola Zoo and Ameriquarium is currently my only major zoo project; I'm constantly renovating and reworking it. Uploading screenshots from my PC to my main computer is quite the hassle, so posts will be infrequent, but I hope they're worth it. To start, here's some pictures, divided by area.
Overview/Panorama:
(A large shot of the whole zoo. In the foreground is the Ameriquarium and Desert Dome, to the left is Africa and the Pachyderm House, to the right is Latin America, and in the far background is the main entrance and Asia.)
Miller's Penguinarium:
Here's the entrance to the Penguinarium, with more pictures below. This state-of-the art African penguin holding facility is sponsored by the Miller family, and features a large indoor tank, a walkthrough area, and one-way viewing into their nest area. The penguin is the only non-American animal currently held at the Ameriquarium portion of the grounds.
Sea Lions:
A large holding pool and display area for California Sea Lions; its associated body of water/nautical region is the Channel Islands. More pictures below.
