I know this has been brought up before, and I think I get why things are the way they are.
I had heard that the reason there are no non-lethal takedowns (ie clubbing or stunning) is that if you could do that and then kill the target afterwards, that would slap ED with a PEGI 18 rating. (correct me if I'm wrong, it's just what I heard)
But would people really balk that much if stunning rendered the target immune to weapons fire afterwards? They're technically out of the fight, so unless you're collecting toes afterwards, what does it matter? (In the case of assassination missions, if you were to stun a target, it could still count as a success, since it would be assumed they're "taken care of" (in the Al Pachino way, not Julie Andrews).
