I bought a second account the other day, and after reading a lot of posts about 'noob killers' on this forum I was expecting to run into a lot of PvP around Eravate/Kremainn etc...

So I played in my new account for a couple of nights, just trading and smuggling for credits around the starter systems, and despite seeing lots of commanders on the radar... nothing, not one player interdiction in about 8 hours of gamplay.

Therefore I think the whole 'Eravate griefers' thing has been overly-exaggerated by some on this forum, the area is fine most of the time.

We regularly get new commanders asking why another commander killed them but I think it probably is way over-exaggerated and more likely down to instancing. Had one guy on here the other day got attacked repeatedly but stuck with it and the next day made it out with no problems. I've not had any issues in Open but I started in Solo (just to work out docking and what have you without crashing into other players). By the time I moved over to open I was already away from the starter system so I couldn't really say it from personal experience.

I was thinking of going down to the starter systems for Horizons release just to help protect noobs

Once Horizons is released they'll have something else to do.

no im sorry its not just a rich commanders hobby , im rich as are many others but theres only a fraction
that behave in this way .
