Noob oculus question

I am not technical and this may seem frivolous. There is a shop near where I live called Starbucks (like in Battle Star Galactica) You can buy a very sturdy plastic cup for your takeaway coffee that has a screw on lid with a straw. It fits in more than a pint and is the safest way to drink beer with a headset on. I did not know where to post this important information but as I only got my Rift two days ago I posted it in NOOB.

I have melted onto a sun while trying to sneak a drink in (lifting the rift from my face) during hyper space jump!

Wow, that must have been some drink... mm, let me see.. avoid star, drink. Avoid. Star. Drink. Drink. Ahh... *Aaargh!*

Yes it's bloody amazing, I too have just joined the Oculus Rift brigade and thanks to forum members have it up and running.
I was bounty hunting last night, and the missus was laughing her head off at my antics in following the enemy fighter. It's certainly different in V.R.
Please explain headlock and how to set it? I almost have my head on my avatar body but not quite.

To reset view:

Options -> Controls -> Miscellaneous -> Reset HMD Orientation

I have bound mine to F12. Just sit in your normal position (close your eyes if you need to) then hit the button.

Also, another tip: The sensor doesn't have to be directly in front of you. Off to the side at 45 degrees works too. (Now that you have the rest button ).
