Noob question I know

How do you get out of the chat window to access the other tabs of the comm panel. Sometimes double space in the chat box then escape works or some random letters then escape, other times it is rage inducingly stubborn about just going back to forward view and refusing to let you into the alternative tabs.

Feel kinda foolish asking this given how many hours I have in this game, but I just start flying in wings more so I use that as an excuse.

No worries it took me a while to figure it out too. Press escape once to get out of the actual chat window. If you only press escape once you should be able to use Q and E to move to the other tabs on the chat window. Press Escape twice to close the chat window entirely. Hope this helps. =)

Go to the controls options and set:
Auto Focus on Text Input Field = OFF

That should allow you to use Q and E to cycle through the comms tabs.

Thank you... my method of hitting escape followed by slinging colorful invectives at the game wasn't working.
