Not a Rant but a Rather Odd Question About A Rather Odd Finding

I know we can't land on planets or moons that have an atmosphere yet, and that goes for gas giants as well, but noticed this
F9F1F64106AB75C608BC7D2FD9745B934A1C7834

Now, I thought this might refer to the resources found in the rings but then I found this:

CCE99584D08D5D13104E8D9A0F96082A226C811E

Note, no rings but still has a list of resources for this planet.

Is this an error on FD's part or are they just setting things up for when we CAN dive into gas giants? Or is this …… A MYSTERY?

Just another incomplete implementation of a feature. Such things we are not supposed to notice... So shame on you! 😘

Some of you need to do some reading, as you clearly don't understand the FSS output. The resources listed are for the scanned body, regardless of its type, whether it has rings or if it is currently landable. It doesn't mention ring contents at all.

This is the most correct explanation.

Excited though I am by possible gas giant exploration, I’m feeling pretty conflicted about Luke humping a strut.. or is it a stanchion?

It's a strut, a stanchion is an upright post holding a guard rail or similar, a strut can point in any direction, so that seems much more appropriate in the circumstances anyway!

Hehe!
Unfortunately Strutslut/Stanchionstallion Luke seems to have disappeared, so we may never be able to confirm that..

Ok that seems pretty pointless, we already have a huge fusion reactor at the centre of the system emitting vast amounts of power that's ready to be collected, it's called a star, I can't imagine this being more efficient, for a start you would have to disassemble a number of full sized planets to get the material to build it.
