Horizons Not combat logging just a CTD!

Was interdicted and being attacked so I deployed my weapons as I'm always up for a fight (ship condition permitting).
I don't go looking for fights myself much but if people attack me, generally I'll fight back - If I win, good. If not, well unlucky me, that's all part of life as an ED pilot.


This time however after deploying my weapons my ship became unresponsive. Was this some sort of new engineer mod the opponent had intefering with my ship? Did I have some really badly adjusted module settings and everything was shutting down?


No, unfortunatley not (as that might have been interesting) instead the game froze and then crashed to desktop for no apparent reason. Sorry to the CMDR (can't recall name) wasn't combat logging, just a random game crash :S


Anyone else getting these? since the new updates I've had a couple now.

Yes a couple here myself. Have updated drivers and turned detail down to medium which seems to have stopped it but they were complete system crash, turn off pc and restart in safe mode jobs.

Yep, this crap has driven me out of open. I have yet to successfully drop on an engineer base in open. I have to kill the client and relog to get in. It is also hanging in witchspace the same way, but not nearly as much as just dropping into the engineer bases. Solo works fine, so I'm going to guess it has something to do with the crap P2P instancing.

So, I'll just fly in solo to avoid the annoyance, only coming to open to save some poor cmdr who has ran out of fuel.
