Not disappearing grids. Patchy thatched roofs. Computer performance sufficient?

Good evening,
I have several questions.

Can it be because of my laptop or is it because of the game?
For me it has been happening recently that the (group) grid from building no longer disappears see picture.

I also have the feeling that it then influences other building grids, better said overlays the other group grids and does not allow them to be valid.
Sometimes I get it away when I reactivate the group that triggers it, sometimes a right click is enough, but sometimes nothing helps.
I have never experienced this before the update.
However, my laptop is also reaching its limits.
The game pauses with me while I'm building.

With these thatched roofs, a gap appears to me.
Could this be due to the poor graphics, my laptop or the update?
Has anyone else experienced this?

I have recently read in the computer questions here in the forum now I am concerned if Planet Zoo will run on my PC when it is repaired again.
My CPU is an Intel Core i5-4460 4x3.2 GHz 6MB cache
Mainboard: ASROCk B85M PRO4

The graphics card would match the recommended one and the RAM, too, according to the gentleman who would fix my PC.
Is it possible to play Planet Zoo well with it?
If someone has similar achievements.
How many guests can you bring to your zoo?
Are there a few more animals and decorative items?
Does the graphic have to be low, or does it go a little higher than maybe even medium?

Thanks for reading and hopefully a few answers.

Many thanks in advance!
Gabi

I played several hours with a PC which was way behind on every requirement, and the only issue I had was that it was sometimes really slow to move accross the map. I played with the graphics on low or medium (my graphic card wasn't incredible), can't remember, my PC made it per default (smart baby).

I think either your PC had a crash, or it is a bug.

Do you play other heavy games, and if yes do you have issues with them too ?

Beautiful Easter.

On my PC I have Green Hell, City Skylines, the Sims 4 and the like. Only occasionally there were minor problems. Which could sometimes be due to the amount of additional DLC and mods.

I have already played City Skylines and the Sims 3 & 4 on the laptop.

All games stutter there.

But I don't know whether that is due to the grid on my laptop or the one with the holey roof.
I've been playing Planet Zoo since beta.
But I didn't have that with the grid before the update.
And then I tried to build a castle and tried to decorate one or the other with my dragon.

I don't build very much, so I can't remember if I ever had the hole in the roof.

I am aware that Planet Zoo will go on my PC, I would, but I would like to know if it runs smoothly there.

I find it very annoying to have a slide show, or to run a tiny, little-decorated zoo that can hardly stay afloat.

Otherwise I would see if I could get a better PC if I needed it.
It's quite a bit what a new graphics card costs.

I would like to have a pretty, not too small, zoo in the challenge.
With my kite!
But which thanks to the guests can stay afloat.

I would also like to play the scenarios. That is rather unthinkable now.

If you had no issue before the update, then it is a bug and you should report it (write a ticket).

However, your PC does seem not powerful enough. If it "stutter" as you said on the Sims 4, I am surprised you could run Planet Zoo since the beta, and I think it is only damaging your PC (maybe someone who knows better might confirm this ?). My previous PC had no issue with the sims 4, despite heavy modding too and several expansion packs, and it was slow on Planet Zoo.

Planet Zoo truly is a heavy game, that is supposed to be play from a powerful PC

Yes, I know that my laptop is not suitable.
Unfortunately 10 days before the beta came out my graphics card broke.

The game was already bought.

I hope it doesn't damage the laptop.
