Came across a system that had a planet with 14 moons! That's the most I think I've ever seen around a single planet.
Nice! The most I've seen is eleven (K designation). The nested moons excluded.
The very next system I visited had a planet with 12 moons - I'm starting to wonder if the universe generation code has been tweaked in this latest update to make such number of moons more common?
Nah, just a coincidence. The nature of the stellar forge is such that tweaks like that are basically impossible without changing all the systems, including already discovered ones, in unpredictable ways.
16 moons on one gas giant is my personal record, I know 17 has been seen.
