Notoriety won't go down after going to the slammer

I did some interdicting for BGS purposes, got blown up and sent to the detention facility, but my notoriety never went down. What the hell?

"There are two ways to reduce Notoriety. First, if a criminal pilot is defeated while one of their bounties has been detected, they will respawn at a nearby Detention Centre with a clean slate after being forced to pay off all of their accumulated bounties in addition to their ship rebuy costs.[1]"

it may be a sync issue always log off on to resync jus in case
switch to solo an back to whatever
yep there are supposed "other" ways to reduce it but time does seem to be the predominate factor imo

So, if you find this to be inaccurate, edit it. It's just a (player) wiki, not the holy writ.

The WIKI info may have some issues as it was probably written a week after C&P came out. I think the official guide is wrong as well saying that notoriety does not decay when docked. I got a notoriety in the Sirius CG this week so I docked at a friendly station with an Interstellar factor and stayed logged in. I went to watch a movie for 2 hours (Catlow wirh Yul Brenner), came back and the notoriety was zero. Then I paid the bounty and went on my way.

Are you hostile with the local controlling faction? Blowing up clean ships, notoriety aside, is also a pretty big negative for your reputation.
