Now I finally get it :D I was thinking that we should start taking over systems across the frontier, like we said at first.

We really have to start doing something to "test" the persistent universe, my suggestion, let's take over Pand, outer colony, in the very end of civilizated space, probably full of criminals.


My suggestion is this:
First, we all head there, and start trading.
Important thing is to do all the missions we can, at the same time, every fighter should start hunting pirates and criminals in this system.
We should bring there every kind of commodities we can.
While we do this, the fleet's comand should make a thread on the forum updating with data recovered from our CMDRs (maybe we could pass all the data thru our forum).

If we do this, I think we'll get this serious.

Count me in.

You're advertising in the wrong place man. People like me give you your income, posting here tell's me which system's to avoid. After some bad luck last week I got a 100k paycheck- I mean bounty on my head, I also provide many tonne's of millitary grade weapons to my black market contact's. How are you going to protect the civillian's on station's?.... Is the taunting working yet? :p
 
I can't get on with the type 6 for trading, so I'm going to begin a full on explorer build, as I think that is where my true calling is in this universe. Couple of questions though, before I sell up...

If I sell my old ship, do the upgraded parts appear in the outfitting section, as there are some A rated bits that I'd want on the new ship too!?

I want a fast small ship, that can have a large jump range, but good top speed too. Weapon points arent crucial. What should I go for? I have about a million in loose change, and a type 6 with mostly A rated parts where applicable. I also have the detailed surface scanner, but not the advanced discovery scanner, which will be 1.5 million, so I need some change from selling this ship!

Db Scout about 20ly, Db Explorer upper 20's(extra range at cost of speed and manuvering). Sell your module's first and they should be in the outfiting as "Rebuy" until you leave. Asp seem's to be the most common go to explorer though for good jump range(between the 2 Diamondback's ranges) and ability to have a bigger fuel scoop.

Actually found a couple of yt videos about the type 6 as an exploration vessel. Downgrading to D class for a few parts to save weight can give jump ranges into the 25+ LY range! Hopefully, the sale of some of my A class parts will get me the 1.5m I need for the Advanced Scanner.

Forgot to mention earlier, but the game blew my mind this morning when I arrived at a Coriolis Station - it had two massive extensions coming out of opposite sides - the sense of scale, and detail, in some of these stations is unbelievable... Wish I'd done an 'xbox, take a screenshot'...

If it's PvP focus on shield strength and all spare internal's SCB, if its PvE you can do same but only B4 & B2 SCB thenHull Reinfoecement in eiter one of or all size 1's. Only thing is a good pure combat build almost alway's require's setting module priorites so you don't shut down with weapon's deployed.Easy way to do that is look at module power useage then turn off the least needed module's untill pwrcwnt is not in red then set those to 2, 3 etc. And finally you do not need A rated thruster's just Thruster's whose optimal mass is about double your current mass.

Yeah, your build is looking tasty Ghost. Not gonna be on til sometime tomorrow evening and need a wing to help build the creds back up.

Think I will try this when I get enough credits, then fly with CAG for some combat exercises.

There is an amazing looking station i visited this morning, can't remember name exactly but was in empire space, called something like sangakara, or similar i think. Anyway the inside was bright with walkways and garden areas, yes trees! Brilliant to come across the variety of stations, and their slightly different looks or configurations.
i also saw an outpost today (baudry?) that had a letterbox door opening too but not known if that was functional - i wasnt about to risk upsetting them while carrying lots of illegal goods!

Will go have another look for that station tmrw it but am blitzing the smuggling missions at moment to get some decent thrusters and even more power for the asp. It's a pretty handy trader at same time tho due to the 88t cargo space I have on it, and a good explorer for when she's maxed out a bit more.

I've spent around 10 million credits fitting my Imperial Courier, I had the exact amount to buy and max a Vulture, but the Courier is too beautiful not to buy it.
I'm using 2 Multi-Cannons and a Plasma Acc

I'll head to Pand when I finish outfitting it, there are a couple of modules that I have to buy yet.

Another Nova CMDR (CMDR Antius3) is already in Pand, witing for orders to start our "conquering"

Edit: I don't know why but you can buy both Courier and Clipper without navy rank in a system called "Tagoman"

Edit: Pand is a dead end, impossible to do nothing there, I'll post another suggestion

I have an extra 25 mil sitting around outside of my trade fund, I may make a vulture for pure combat. Thinking of going beam and cannon though, will have to see how power management is. I'll head over to you guys as well ....the space cowis making 10 mil per hour but its getting too grindy right now
