Parks Now open: Tinker town!

Okay did alot of work on my dueling coasters, I'm no Silverett but I'm pretty happy with how the themeing for the area turned out regardless.

I'd be pretty happy with that, too :D Excellent work! That dimly seen shark nibbling the facade of one of the buildings is a nice touch. But perhaps the coolest touch is one you perhaps didn't intend. In the 3rd-to-last pic, the path climbing the wall in the background looks like a giant miner's pick against the wall. Which fits perfectly :)

You keep updating this so fast I haven't been able to keep up. But I plan to give it a good look-see tomorrow if possible. I'm sure you've only gotten better since I last visited this amazing park.

Great work dude, I really like the use of underground spaces. Good motivation for me to try some of that stuff out too. Cheers!

Speaking of updating....

Updated map....

And some more screen-caps, because admittedly while I wasn't intending for it to be a "Megapark" it might still qualify as such... and who doesn't love a good screenshot?

LOL, the splattered hazmat drums made my day :) Which is saying something because today I got on Ch5. This park is FAR superior to mine so lobby Ch5 for the exposure you deserve.

Well congrats man, I just saw the video. [up][up] And thanks for the suggestion, I just submitted it to them... If anyone else also wants to recommend it to them too you're more than welcome to.

OK, finally got a chance to look at the new stuff today. I was right, you have gotten better as you've gone along. The various underground areas are if anything even cooler than the stuff on the surface, both the old and the new. Although I think my favorite touch was noticing an amphibious galleon on tank treads that I don't recall seeing before. No, actually, it was that cyborg shark on the synched minetrains, which looks so much better live than in pics. Or was it the Forge flat ride down in the lava pool? Who knows? Lots of great stuff both earlier and more recently, above and below. It all gives me sensory overload.

All in all, WONDERFUL!

PS: If you do any more to this, PLEASE cap the peeps at 10K. That's as much as my machine can handle, which is about where this park is now.

Well, I just had to go back in and fiddle with some stuff again, discovered some more fences that I missed the last time I was on a fence fixing binge, put in a plaque in honor of Mr.Crackers. Oh and discovered an update to the plants that prompted some more garden work as well as a new sign for the garden section of my park... I think Bullethead will really like it.

Don't mess with Mr. Crackers or you'll end up like those poor sods in the pool ;)

Hahaha, I'm very honored. But I can't read the sign. The middle part is obscured in the screenshot and when I found that spot in the park just now (between the 2 big towers the hybrid spirals around), there wasn't any sign, nor even bones, on that arch at all. So is that the joke? :D

Not a joke, though now I'm wondering if I uploaded the updated version like I thought I did... (It would have been a late night update.)

Also, I did discover that a couple of the plants that weren't color-able before the spring update now have re-color-able flowers... (And for some reason the default flower color on the "White bush" isn't white anymore though that's easy enough to fix.)

New update to this park: Did some more work on the swamp foliage... Added a sign over the cave on the go-cart track for the "Bunny Cave" as well as a couple added details inside, as well as some more detail work in random spots throughout the park. (Also added a sign to the Twin Tracks dueling coaster.)

Also if you download the park and play it, don't forget to rate it. [wink]

Updated update: I just had to.

very nice minnion!

Thank you. I got the idea for the fireworks shop from Channel Five Gaming and their recent review of the Dynamite Daisy coaster... (I think it was Combat Wombat's coaster, my memory could be failing me though...)
I even uploaded it to the workshop separate from the rest of my park for those who want to use it in their own parks...

Then of course I just updated the park again... (Mostly little details like signs and perhaps a few supports, and maybe some minor coaster tweaks... Mostly just smoothing out some that had some issues with too much fear.)

Obligitory screenshot for the latest update... Doesn't really show any of the changes, but if you look by the Lockjaws lookout sign there may be a trap door that randomly opens up with something looking out at you... And the sounds of monkeys and electrodes to be heard....

Again, excellent work on the new stuff!

More importantly, however, I got to see the heretofore illegible central section of "my" sign. BOTANICAL! LOL!! :D :D :D Thanks for the shout-out to the "Faith Healing" section of Quarantine Island.

I get the connotations of "botanical", which I admit to having fostered in the write-up of my own park. And I don't object, obviously. But lest anybody get the wrong impression, I myself, having been subject to drug testing all my adult life, haven't even eaten a poppy-seed bagel in 30 years, let alone do anything more adventurous. No, with me, it's just booze and tobacco. And coffee, the essential nutrient of all public servants. Which are, at the bottom line, all quite "botanical" and traditional, and even organic if done right, not to mention legal within certain limits :)
