So now station renaming (even paid), doesn't occur until the next server tick? How come??

Doesn't seem to be universal. I didn't go through with the process as I don't want to spend 5000 ARX on renaming an installation, but seems like it would be immediately for me.
Just checked now. By the way, when I confirm purchase, it does nothing. No confirmation, no window closure, ARX isn't taken.
My initial assumption is it will take the ARX and change my station name next Thursday. My secondary assumption is it's a bug and nothing will happen. But we'll see next week!
I just renamed the Coriolis I started ten minutes ago, the rename was instant.
It should be that the initial rename is instant. Any subsequent ones need to wait for server tick. But at least let us rename the first one immediately.
For the one I want to rename, I did choose a random one initially, when it was complete, as I knew I should be able to give it it's proper 'paid for' rename when ready.

Maybe the random name I let it choose initially is why I now have to wait. However that was done a few days ago, before the Thursday server tick.
It would just be nice for someone from Frontier to chime in and tell us what the rules are instead of having us guess. Say, a line in the Update 1 patch notes? At least something. Or a warning on the rename screen. Things need to be made clear.

Then there must be a limitation that has no bearing on server tick where if you change the name freely with the random generator, then you have to wait 7 days to do it again).
