Now that board flipping is gone, we need to separate wing and solo missions, imo...

Although now that I read my post again, it wouldn't address your issue since some missions would still be pretty much out of reach for either group of players...
But I could see system security play a role here in affecting the difficulty of missions, so that wings interested in wing content (or solo players interested in more challenging content) would know where to go in general.

I wouldn't mind that if the volume were enough, let's face it, there could be a numbers hike across the board. I know pretty much how many missions a faction will have now by looking at the faction details in the right panel. The only time you get 20+ missions is when 15 of them are the same type, caused by states.

But yeh, I was surprised by this implementation of wing missions. Surely it would have been better to come up with code that simply splits any prize from any mission completed by multiple members between them equally and balance the payouts based on that and the difficulty of the mission? Meh...
 
I'm all for them redesigning the missions--but please please please add more complex filtering to the job board.

Add: filter by job type (solo/wing)
Allow combination of filters: ie., transport + legal.

For a mission runner like me, this QOL kind of improvement would be sweet.

Yeah that would also be awesome for sure.
 
Any/all missions should be doable as a wing or solo.

Any/all missions should be doable in a single delivery or multiple deliveries provided they meet the time requirements (currently 24hr).

Any/all mission payouts should be divided equally by the number of players working to complete that particular mission.

If you TRULY want to have missions which REQUIRE a wing, then put a time limit on the delivery schedule (20 min, 30 min, etc).

Done.

I solo wing missions regularly. 7520 tons of cargo hauling is only 10 trips for my Type-9.
12 pirate scum is a lazy day for my combat Beluga.

And the pay is generally better.

What I would LOVE to see separated are Bulk and VIP Passengers.

Dunno about better--at best they're equal. Elite level, it's easy to land solos for 1.5-3M CR, or wings for 8-25M CR. If you can do them in 10 trips or less, they're about even if you're judicious with the wing missions. But solo missions in the right places are not hard to find paying 3-6M, and solo slave smuggling missions often start at 10M and go up from there. Haven't seen any wing missions with similar juicy payouts.
