Now that Universal let the secret out…

Universal confirmed in an announcement promoting the 30th anniversary of the JP franchise that JWE2 will get a corresponding “pack”. I think now would be a great time for Frontier to come out and at least give some more insight into what this will be. If the news article is correct, a simple dinosaur pack sounds quite underwhelming. The fact that Frontier keeps breaking the game with every DLC already makes me less likely to buy it at launch. Haven’t even bothered buying the feathered dlc and won’t until the game is actually playable.

Honestly I was hoping for a larger expansion that would at least give use the JWE 93 Nublar map. It had the pond from the movie and the only improvement it needed was the waterfall and to perhaps be a little bit bigger. A giant version of that would automatically make me consider buying. I’m seriously hoping we are at least getting segisaurus, the 93 parasaur, and 97 pteranodon. I’d also hope for the remaining novel creatures but I feel those are the most appropriate. The reason I put the 97 pteranodon is because we really need all the movie animals to finally be in the game. Another good thing would be the option for herbivore feeders like in the first game.

Honestly I Iike TLW pteranodons because they feel less movie monster than the ones in JP3.

Hey there!

We're so excited for the Jurassic Park 30th anniversary, and can't wait to celebrate with a free decorative update planned for everyone for the anniversary itself. Keep an eye on our social channels for more on that update closer to the time.
That’s kind of cool, but I feel like a lot of the playerbase is wanting to know if the report is correct and the paid DLC will be a mere dino pack or a full on expansion. Was universal correct in saying “pack” or was that miscommunication on their end?

‘Free decorative update’ seems to be the key phrase in Frontier’s reply.

Why would we want herbivore feeders back? Everyone was talking about how it would be better for the herbivores to just eat the plants that you place down, which makes a whole lot more sense.

it´s a nice option to bring Herbivores to focus on one point, and you don´t have flood the complete enclosure with vegetation for enough food. So you can create better looking enclosures.

you have a link or something of this post from universal? pls?
I don't know where Universal's original post is, but Jurassic Outpost has a nice summary of the info: https://jurassicoutpost.com/heres-a...ebrate-the-30th-anniversary-of-jurassic-park/. While Jurassic Outpost is not directly affiliated with Universal, at least as far as I know, article writer Chris Pugh is presumably directly employed by Universal since he hosts the Beyond the Gates videos that are posted directly on the Jurassic World YouTube channel. As such, this article is likely very reliable.

consider bringing Jurassic Park The Lost World skins from pre-order content or new Jurassic Park Lost World skins and or maybe bringing John Hammond Lab interiors

The paleo plants can visually clash with the surrounding environment and vegetation at times. Alternatively, where applicable, maybe Frontier could give us a Sandbox option that allows herbivores and omnivores to eat the native biome plants instead of just the paleo plants. The only issue with this is that there are no trees on the Desert maps, and I can't really see sauropods eating cacti.

As someone who has been a fan of this franchise since the release of the first novel, can we please -- FINALLY -- have a segisaurus? It has never once been featured in the films, the extended media, or the merchandising. Releasing segisaurus, which technically should have been included in the RtJP DLC for JWE, seems like a wonderful opportunity to celebrate JP30 so that we can finally recreate Jurassic Park as it would have been when it opened. It would be especially cool if you commissioned Mark "Crash" McCreery to develop a unique and interesting design.

If Frontier doesn't respond about something when asked, then they have no plans on sharing any info until the time that they've predetermined (or never if they don't plan on adding something to the game). This was especially evident after they announced the Biosyn Expansion Pack, and this forum was inundated with questions about the missing Dominion species. For items that are never added, sometimes they'll say something like "We have nothing to announce at this time" or, in the case of baby dinosaurs, a very explicit "We do not plan on ever adding this to the game," or something like that.

It would be great if the other exclusive species in the novel be added.

In the movie lore, it is said that Segisaurus was a planned attraction for Jurassic Park. However, the species was subjected to an unknown form of cruelty.

Microceratops/ Microceratus appeared in the original novel and the film Jurassic World: Dominion. Years before the events of the film, Microceratus was originally a planned attraction to be added in Jurassic Park and was bred in Isla Sorna. They were let loose into the wilds of Isla Sorna and were not encountered by any of the films' characters.
