Nvidia to buy rival chipmaker Arm from Softbank for $40B

Computer graphics chip company Nvidia said it plans to buy Britain's Arm Holdings for $40 billion, in a merger of two leading chipmakers.

The coorporate startegy at Nvidia appears to have undergone a shift since they had the fab problems.
They are now simply getting better tech by partnerships and acquisitions. Partenering with Samsung to make the Ampere, and now this move.
