NVidia is delaying their new GPU until 3rd quarter

I'm guessing, but probably for the same reason they don't use multiple-threads and CPU cores.

Games are very much multi threaded. The whole mantra of "only singel core performance matter for gaming" hasn't been true for more than five years, but no.
This erroneous chant just won't die.

And for VR it is doubly true.

From what I hear, Unity is setup to leverage up to 9 threads, the unreal engine 12 threads.
That's like 98% of all vr titles, and VR works are slowly coming into both these engines, thing is so far it has been so unstable to implement, that doing so has broken has broken the game in question for anyone not on a Pascal card, and thats a really bad decision for a dev.
ED is equally multithreaded.
And on top of native game multi threaded support. windows allocate available resources as well so the load from the vr runtimes are spread out.

Lol, DDR3

DDR4 prices are DRASTICALLY different in speeds, and it also doesn't make much difference on any DDR4 platforms because of the way the memory controllers etc work. It makes some difference in benchmarks but you will never see the difference in an actual game.
