NVidia + Oculus - How to record full screen?

I've just managed to record footage while in VR; I press <ALT> + F9 to start, same to stop.

However, when I replay, the footage is of my entire desktop. Is there any way to record ED such that the video is full screen, or optionally to watch it through the Oculus afterwards?

I found some free software Open Broadcast Studio link which will allow you to record/stream any open window on your desktop.

it might do what you looking for. There are plenty of movie players for Oculus around.

With the Nvidia software like you I found it only records the whole screen.

Cheers Jezzer, I'll check it out.

In the meantime I found my ED settings were windowed; I set it to full screen, all sorted now.

use shadowplay... enable capture desktop then when in game goto options, graphics and switch mode to fullscreen. Doesnt effect gameplay ( not on my system anyway ).
