Parks Oakwood Adventures - Family Theme Park - Goodbye Alpha 1

Incredible. You have mad crazy skills with this game.

Thanks dude, I still have a long way to go though. [happy] I think it's going go be a while until I get used to the game like I did with RCT3 but I absolutely love this new building system and think there's so much potential for more! Can't wait to see what this game looks like on its full release.

Everytime you post an update of your park the result is amazing. Certainly with the limited amount of scenery available at this time

Your architecture skills in this game are absolutely stunning. It's amazing to see you've created such a themed park which really has this "warm" feel to it while the game is only in alpha 2! Amazing job.

It's so beautiful... I would love to have the patience and for the moment, I find it difficult to make multi-angles buildings and many here make miracle even with this limitation. Very great work [up]

I agree, it was very hard for me to adapt to this new style of local grid system especially coming from RCT3 but it's extremely powerful. The park has 11,000 buildings (or grids) currently and its rising, but by breaking out of the system set out by RCT3 the game becomes far more powerful, it avoids the boring flatness of some main streets and with the curved path system helps to add flow to your park . The only thing I could say is keep practicing and building, the results will be great!

Update 9: The Lake

[SIDE NOTE: Sorry for the large gap between the last post and now. This is a huge update with too much to show to fit it all in. These are the highlights- a new lake inspired by Disney Epcot's World showcase. An ambitious task, especially considering the lack of water in the game- but I'm happy with the result so far. And as we head into the final phase of the park, it appears we are very close to finishing! Download will be up soon.]

Amazing park. I love the lay out of the park and the buildings are impressive. And i can't figure out how you made the clock in the tower [cry]. But i suppose magicians don;t tell their tricks [big grin].

Ah of course haha it's surprisingly simple, only three different pieces in fact!

Update 10: Completion!

[SIDE NOTE: Thanks to everyone who has followed the park from the beginning until now, or even has just discovered it, this community is inspirational. This was a project I never thought I would finish considering the size and scale of the plans but- well- here we are! This is just going to act as a final post talking about all the new things in the park that pushed it towards completion, so sorry the photos aren't amazing, they're just filler- the download, video and final photos will go on a separate thread which I will link- this just means it won't get lost in all the updates. Thanks for following- I look forward to hearing your feedback when you have a walk around the park for yourself!]
