Not that i am particularly interested in those gold rushes - but rest assured, there will be a next time. At times it feels like its FDs new kind of sport to see how quickly players find out....
Gladly for those who do participate in those, FD is a nice company. So you never have to fear that they remove any unrightfully earned cash where any player with half a brain could have guessed that this is not working as intendend.

Won’t make much difference to me. I truly enjoy the act of core mining in this game. If anything it frees up a slot for me to make my build either more defensible or more versatile. Unlike so many others I’m actually reasonably well known for refusing to exploit the game. Been using more than one blaster not because I’m cash hungry, but because I enjoy the gameplay.
Did you enjoy the vid? I enjoyed making it. I love it when a build works. My other mining ship is a Cobra4.

No problem from my side. If you enjoy what you are doing, all the better. For whatever reason. By now i only shrug and keep to do my thing. Its FDs part to do something about it or not, not the players part - at least not mostly. [smile]

Ah well, just to raise my voice towards FD that there are still players that disagree with their course of money earned, even if its meant to be that way. I just don't blame the player that much, especially as FD does not act appropriatly. So yea, i play the way i prefer without cheesy stuff, as long as others do and FD does not care, why should i.

I'm glad they are, so I can use whatever ship I'd prefer to use for mining, rather than just an Asp Explorer.

i dunno... i am itching to go mining but cant at the moment as it feels like cheating. i do enjoy it mechanically however in beta but have kind of lost the will to log in TBH i certainly do not begrudge those making hay etc tho but it is game breaking for me.
if this ever gets balanced something like with other activities in the game, this is 1 CMDR who will increase the active player base number by 1. at the moment i do not want to break my game so i am playing pinball instead. (on the bright side my Woah Nellie Big Juicy Melons high score has almost doubled in the last few months
)
