Oculus and Leap Motion

Does anybody know if there are plans to support leap motion for HUD interaction with the Ocullus Rift?

I was thinking about the possibility of Microsoft Kinect + Rift then realised that it would result in thousands of law suits as people smashed up their desks, smacked other people in the eye, broke their fingers and punched themselves in the head.

A simple virtual keyboard and a pointer to use with UI menues would be sufficient, I think.
