After setting a course, isn't that the chime played when reaching your final destination?
Kondareni System... Last inhabited space south/down of the bubble where I have been exploring... Got 3 planets today... yea me...What system? The soundtrack to Elite: Dangerous has a lot of variations depending on what system you're in. Some of the songs only play in very specific systems.
I've only been playing about a month... but this is the first time I've heard it.After setting a course, isn't that the chime played when reaching your final destination?
I noticed different music playing when you exit a jump in certain systems. I know for sure I heard it in Pleiades, Maia, Merope, and in systems that have a crashed alien ship. I assumed it was known.
5 tone, almost oriental, musical alert
I know this thread is old as dirt, but ive noticed this too and I would really like to know what this is. Im hearing different types of "chimes" or jingles when arriving at systems. There are a few different jingles, and sometimes it sounds like youve really found something. Anyone ever figure this one out? This was over the other music... meant to be heard.

It could be "you have arrived at your destination", but I haven't heard it before... just seemed weird.
Sounds like the Imperial system music. Your first time visiting one?Tonite I jumped into inhabited space after being out on a walkabout and heard a 5 tone, almost oriental, musical alert... thats it just 5 tones.
Was just thinking the same thing.... pretty sure that's the arrival music in Imperial systems, when it's your final destination in a routeYour first time in an Imperial system?
