Odd noise

Need you advice/help... I'm mooching around doing missions and I have a weird background noise (On PC). Is this normal, is this a bug, is this a driver issue, are others hearing this? When I enter the pause menu by pressing escape it stops. It not there when I'm not playing.... Odd. I'm sure this is not normal. I'm flying around my FDL, I know different ships make different noises but I've not noticed this before. Happy to poist a bug report if so.

I'm thinking it's just the normal background noise and I'm going senile.

I got that one it's the sound from the discovery/detail scanners getting stuck in a loop, I even posted it in the exploration thread thinking it might be an important signal source doh!

Ok thanks. I think it must be the detailed surface scanner. I'm probably only noticing it as I installed that scanner not too long ago for a slightly longer than usual trip in the FDL - surprisingly versatile for material/data hunting and you feel less like a sitting duck.

So it's not normal It sounds (no pun intended) like a bug. Which has been reported. So I'll ignore it.
