It appears I'm a shape-shifter, and I need to get back to my bucket for some much-needed rest.

If you don't have a clue to what I'm talking about, either someday you will, or this thread won't matter to you anyway.

Haha, I got moved to off-topic. That's my fault for being obscure. Here's the meaning behind the parable:

It's a confirmed bug in version 2.4, and it can be pretty bad at times.

I'm kinda surprised this hasn't received the same amount of attention that "teargate" received after the first release, unless all the hoopla is happening over in Reddit.

because its not that important... hardly gonna affect your gameplay is it? Just stops people looking pretty - what fuss?

It's not just people, though. More often then not, if the holome looks like that, everything starts looking like that. What's worse is when it toggles back and forth between normal and this "blob world" every two seconds - it's incredibly jarring.

If it weren't so time consuming, I'd post a video so you could see what the fuss is, but my upload speed is crap. I'm really surprised you haven't experienced it yourself.

I know. Detail settings on PRO are particularly horrific. 50% of the time I have some objects rendered in 1080 and other textures mapped at around 240 or less.

Nope - still no issues for me, been to stations, planets, rings etc. no graphics issues. and holo-me - I still don't care - didn't care when they introduced it, don't care now, won't care in the future...Its useless fluff in my opinion and was a complete waste of developer time that could have been better spent on sorting out other things like beige planets...

He's got two advantages, one, he's on a pc; two, he's in austraila, in addition to being the only one south of the equator, which means no one else to share the signal, he gets it all to himself, the data comes in upside down. Think of it like reverse technology. Where as it not backwads, it's inverted instead. LOL

Longjohn is on a PC? What's he doing in this sub-forum?

I just think he has bad vision, so he sees all graphics as blurry, so everything looks "normal" to him [haha]

I've been asking that question since launch. I can understand one being here with experience from other platform, who now are ps4 players. But what's up with the vast number of other platforms being here while still playing on their other platforms.

I'd concure that most of the anwer's one of us real noods posts. Is generally answered by a pc player who isn't even playing on a ps4. Reading between the lines, one can generally tell, by their suggestions as to what to do, like click here to do..., push ww and then y to do...; Not wanting to start trouble, I've learned to just skip reading known cmdr's post or retorts. That are using pc's. I mean, who in there right mind playing on a ps4, go to a pc thread and make suggestions as to how to play the game. It's almost two different worlds. With the excepition of installing a VERSION of the same game. A pc and a console are two competely different as night and day devices.

Yeah, sure, directions are great if one is stuck. But instucting one to double click or use the right button instead of the left button is assine and serves no purpose.

Well, I'd think that living life upside down would make me view things fuzzy all the time also. I mean how long can one beupside down before all the blood runs into you head and there's no room to provide clarity of images sent from one's eyes to the briain. There's a reason there's so many animals that are only found there. They adapted over billions of years to being upside down, and died off when the plates shift took some north of the equator where as they became right side up. I mean for years, countries sent prisoner's there, why, because criminal do things backward compared to the rest of us. Upside down and or backwards are considerably closer to being the same than being right side up is to either of them. I mean even god made a few mistake when he/she/it, designed some animals. Realizing his/her's/its mistake confined them to austraila.

I will cast aside the low blows at my character - but i do not own a PC, i play on PS4 PRO as i have stated numerous times and i don't live in Australia I live in NEW ZEALAND which was never a penal colony.

AND no - still nothing wrong with my graphics..although..i did notice that there seems to be slightly more variation in planetary bodies textures when you enter OC, but the graphics are not so great as you get up close. However that may be purely anecdotal at this stage. I was flying without an SRV, and i'd like to get down tot he ground to check it out later.

so - in future - can you two get your facts of life sorted first before jumping in on someone (like me).
