For any delays and trouble concerning consoles, never ever blame developers, but the console manufacturers.
They are the ones who put computers in boxes in order to exploit the living crap out of their customers and any other party involved, developers, publishers and so on.
They establish their product, make it incompatible with everything else and of course it's a privilege to release stuff for their boxes because people gotta pay for it, also for patching their own feaking games and whatever else.
Last thing I heard is, that Sony wants money for crossplay compatibility.

Don't blame developers for any disadvantage you have with consoles. It's most certainly not their fault.

I bought the Horizon season pass edition when it first came out on console only because I thought the season pass was for the rest of the other upcoming DLC which I haven’t seen DLC for that pass.

No you bought the Horizons season pass which gave you the Horizons season, ie:

planetary landings
engineers
guardians
new ships

this is true for the most part, except one thing, Keyboard and mouse support. It's been enabled for the consoles for almost 3 years now, Frontier just has to turn it on.

Basically console players aren't getting Beta Access. You'll get it and you'll get a version that will be much better than what we PC loons are gonna get tomorrow. Or sometime this week. Horizons took extra time to launch and it was up and down for a while so you're not missing out. You're dodging bullets.
