Odyssey Mission Woes still a thing?

I was able to get the on foot prompts in settlement to work by adding my controller bindings to Options->Controls->General Controls.

Previously, I just had the HOTAS settings mapped on the right side, but I added the controller bindings to the left side and then I was able to respond and navigate dialog prompts when on foot.

Well I guess I can try that again - but I'm pretty sure I tried using the UI controls on my HOTAS - doesn't make sense it wouldn't work crossing over. But I think will wait until I have a good chunk of credits in my account before I risk getting fined up the rear end.

I've done hundreds of these missions, and the only issue I've seen was a missing NPC at the settlement. A re-log always fixes that, so no big deal. Are the NPC menus a pain to navigate? Yes, but they are navigable.

This game does alot, but it absolutely refuses to hold your hand. Most of it has to be figured out through careful trial-and-error, or detailed instructions from others. That is ED, plain and simple. If that's too much for you, ED is too much for you.

I'd ask you the same question....

You are the only one on the forums experiencing this "bug". That pretty much confirms this is not a bug.

You've already stated:

re-logging didn't work - and no only 2 where in one sitting.
I've walked away from odyssey until if ever is fixed.

Even if I forgot to pick up said item (which isn't clear) - I should be able to say "no I don't got the item" - not being able to choose any dialogue option at all is just crazy.

Why continue posting about this if you've walked away until this (non-existent) bug is fixed? That looks like trolling to me.

Already did, and everything I stated is valid. You're unable to figure out what you're doing wrong, and you're blaming the game. You'll never find a solution with that attitude.

Trolls love to make things up, and they tend to misspell alot. Both are caused by rushing to respond, without thinking it through. You might make the wrong impression if you keep that up. You are definitely demonstrating the likely source of your "issue" : rushing.

Tried again today after I got a hefty stack of credits to afford to pain fines with - talk about a needle in a haystack.

Interface is responding now - unlike some people here - you actually paid attention to what I said and I owe you a great deal for solving the problem.
now I can at least enjoy the game.

I'll be sure to let others know to ensure they set the UI panel set - odd thing tho I could have swore the HOTAS trigger didn't work - must be some criss cross thing in Odyssey ignoring them...
