Odyssey team / wing / crew multi-deploy on foot?

So one thing has not been clear to me since day one, and I was hoping that this will get explained while days go buy and more fixes drop...

How is Odyssey suppose to work in multicrew? Can I take a mission, load up 2 friends into a ship, fly to a drop-off point and can we all disembark at the same time? Or is that not a planned feature? What about team missions?

When and where do I get to play with friends and play these settlement missions as a team, with team rewards and stuff...

Whaaaa, really? We tried that on day one and it didnt work, nobody could look down and get the didembark / srv thing... This is news to me!! Ill try it out immediately, thanks

OP, just be aware that some of us are having a lot of problems with team members boarding our ships and finding themselves in Orange Sidewinders.

I think we were in Multicrew, you guys need to send this message out to players somehow on bulk, because I feel like majority people don't realize they can team up right now in any way shape or form, but being able to fly around together and disembark together is BIG, changes everything

We tried that, we teamed up and got on the same ship. but teammates got kicked out whenever we got in to supercruise or hyperjump

The wing function is renamed to team. It has been there for quite a while now. And yes you can take out multiple SRVs. SLFs are bugged planetside so forget about those. Also sometimes SRV access.. breaks. So keep that in mind.

Oh and ofc flying around only works until someone dies, or disconnects, or quits the game. You can't go back to your friend's ship, but will be booted back to where you parked yours.

Basically - can I now do bounty hunting wings with some CMDRs flying other people's fighters?

Team size is 4. Those 4 commanders can be across as many ships as you want.

How do you actually board someone else's ship physically?

I was in a team with someone and saw no option to board their ship anywhere.

Can it be done from any starport or station or is there a specific way to do it?

If you're in a starport, and the ship is multicrew capable, there will be extra options at the elevator to go to that hangar instead of yours. On planetside, walk up to the blue circle and take a seat, if available.

You need to join the team, then go to the hangar elevators. There you will see you can choose your own ship or your team mate's. Boarding the ship this way means you are physically there and can disembark, crew an srv etc, rather than when you multicrew, which is just telepresence so you can't disembark.

Worth noting here that at time of writing whilst you can bounty hunt with friends in a number of ships (4 ships with 1 person each, 2 ships with 2 people each, or 1 ship with 3 people and 1 ship with 1 person), people not in their own ships are not being payed bounties, or combat bonds if in a conflict zone.. I have reached out to FDEV and am awaiting reply.
