Odyssey wiping Horizon key binds (PSA)

With Odyssey being so new naturally I have some friends that don't have the expansion yet. When returning to Horizon my custom key binds for my HOSAS setup was completely wiped. But Odyssey binds were fine when going back. Not sure why launching Odyssey is causing this. But the only solution seems to be binding in Odyssey first to what you want. Then go into Horizons and bind there. After binding in Horizons backup your key binds folder. This should be located in
Local Disk(c)/User/your name/AppData/Local/Frontier Developments/Elite Dangerous/Options

I recommend copy and paste the bindings folder to somewhere you deem safe. And it's worth noting never drag it back and forth. Always copy paste it. If you do the bindings you want in Odyssey first then in horizons second. You should have every binding saved for both clients. o7 CMDRs

Mine goes to mouse and keyboard.
Tried using a copied .bind file and it reverts to mouse and keyboard.
I want to know when I have to stop memorizing 100 settings and the games works properly.
This isn't the leisurely, relaxing game play I was looking for.
Now I have spend another two hours to solve it and play the game again.
Like I did when I played a day ago.
