Official Android App

The game's been out for over a year now, surely there's an official Android app by now somewhere. I've searched everywhere, or eh...have I gone completely blind? (I have noticed an official iOS app of course, but that's no use obviously)

So apparently an ED app is a fashion accessory instead of a functional App.

I was gonna get an iphone, but then I realized I already had a personality.

It's not very functional on IOS. I did think there Cobra engine was multi platform so I am confused why it did not land on Android as well. But as I say it is not worth having on any platform until they may it way more useful.

Multi-platform doesn't necessarily mean omni-platform.

The ios app wasnt useless, it gave you some info in your station and background on the ships.
It has been a wasted opportunity, however.
It would have been awesome to have an app at the very least gives you access to Galnet and your current status (E.g. mission timeouts). I would love to be able to look at the bulletin board and even accept missions whilst I'm docked at a station.

I would love to see an app integrate into the game just like Fallout 4 does. Yep, there's an app for that (And works on all platforms). You can see your game maps, open and completed quests, items you collected and even play mini games on it. Now that's what we should be expecting

I'd love an app, mostly to use as a permanent second screen for galaxy map and system maps. As well as BB at stations.
Sometimes accessing either map can take over a minute.
1 minute in SC is enough to overshoot almost any destination, except Hutton orbital. Lol or be interdicted and destroyed. So it would be nice to have it open at all times.

I wouldn't bother with the iPhone either - the app hasn't worked at all since IOS 9 upgrade - it crashes instantly, every time.

Even when it worked, it wasn't much use. An unneccessary negative impact on Frontier's reputation.

What I'd love to see as an app is something that will let me display the left-hand and right-hand ship screens on my Android tablet. It's doable - the PipBoy app for Fallout 4 was similar, though it was a ridiculous battery hog. I'd even be tempted to get a cheap second tablet, so that I can access the left and right displays at the same time.

Add the ability to browse GalNet and Powerplay while I'm out of game and it'd be perfect.
