Yup you are right. If optional cosmetics are enough to stop you from playing the game, that's 100% your prerogative.

I saw a yellow Type 7 that reminded me of the Fortnite schoolbus.. Too bad it couldn't be used as a drop ship for ground CZs

it´s not only cosmetics.
they are just another thing i dislike among a growing pile of things.
also, nowhere did i say i will stop playing, only that i don´t have high hopes for the game, like i used to have in the past.
but that wouldn´t fit the narrative you are trying to push here, no?

ok i understand, guess my english is not nuanced enough and i could have made it clearer.
i give up fighting the inevitable, if the majority of players think this is the way the game should be.
fdev have to stick to their audience, and maybe i´m just not part of that.
there is always the option to simply stop playing if i want to, so i don´t need to fight a useless fight.
but knowing the game will stay on that track helps me to adjust my own expectations.
and in the end, these lowered expectations help me to cope better with the things i dislike.
if you want to know why i felt your post attacked me in, take a step back and think why you chose to sigle out my comment in the first place.
after all, we are all here because we like the game

If Fortnite is a blast to play, ED's becoming more like that all the time. I saw some vid showing a chair we can interact with for FC's. Im predicting fade-to-black-to-sitting, but thats fine by me.
FDev dont need to fix the artists, they're doing a fine job.

All I'm going to say on this (then I'll be done) is some of us find it a little melodramatic to get upset over optional cosmetics that (most likely) you will never see in game unless you purchase them yourself.
Also, as others have pointed out, artists are not the ones responsible for bug fixing, so it isn't like fdev is taking away resources from bugfixing/content to give us these. The company doesn't have a subscription model so this is the way to support the game without it. I do think they will keep adding cosmetics that aren't as silly as well.
Anyways, if you can't take the game seriously anymore that is all good. I wish you a happy holiday and a hopefully and excellent New Year ( no sarcasm).
