Why can't I use the word , (the long pieces of cloth you put in front of windows, on the inside. You have 2 of them, usually. You draw them. They aren't blinds, but are like blinds. They're for blocking out sun, but you use them at night. Anyone getting what I'm talking about), in forum posts?

wow yeah you are right... its not even like it has a swear word buried inside like Scun?horpe.

before my misspelling I put the correct one in on the top line and it was stripped out... odd.... hope I do not get banned for swear filter evasion ;)

You're not allowed to say drаpеs, grаpеs, scrаpе, skуscrаper and any other word containing "ape"

I think the reason that c.u.r.t.a.i.n.s. is not allowed as it is synonymous with death, I.e its drapes for you. Does seem odd though.
