I am seriously considering a 4k monitor for christmas. Also being a star trek nut I would love to have a Majel BarrettIThe female computer voice in star trek) computer voice for voice attack but cant find one anywhere. Dont these people who make these voices realise how popular something like this would be.

I suppose there are only the samples made while she was still alive. Although I use Fiverr to get voice talent for some of my projects with some really good results... I've not applied myself to the Voice Attack packs, the ones I've seen are of excellent quality.

They know, just Majel doesn't have 'the voice' anymore, and she really only recorded a small number of lines for the ST Empire. Her death was very painful.

I will be speaking with the sexy Ruby Suki to do a voice set for VA, she would enjoy that.

What upgrade/new part would really make you happy? -- JUST 1

In my case a Nvidia GTX 980

And before you say, well go out and get one... let's get real here.. The reason we DON'T have "our item" is because a variety of reasons we can't. I need lots of different parts, but new video is the highest need. The reason I don't save up etc if I am disabled, after needed bills and meds I barely have enough for food.

I recently bought the VoiceAttack and to buy even that I am now spending a week on Bulk Ramen.. see my point.

So, what is your 1 part?

I would love to upgrade, but the hardware isn't quite there yet imho. I'll most likely preorder 2 GTX 1080s as soon as they're announced.

Very .... odd to think how it would work with the game screens... and the entire right side wouldn't be useful for ME.... However, It would be a interesting starting point.

If going for that level of detail I would think making a ED cockpit mockup would actually be cheaper.

Does it have to be out yet? If not I would say rift cv1. My dk2 is amazing but I can't wait to get higher res.

If it does however I would say gtx980.

That list looks sweet except for one thing. The NZXT liquid cooler. NZXT isn't known for solid build quality. I had a case that severely disappointed me. It's your choice but I'd recommend either a corsair all in one or the new swiftech. Check out reviews on Newegg and amazon. When dealing with liquid inside something as expensive as a pc and the inherent risks of disaster quality is at the top of the list. Whatever you choose best of luck with it. It's gonna be a great machine.
