For Palin, I stripped my DBX, dropped in a passenger cabin, and am off to the wild black yonder.

I've already found bodies that are undiscovered. Do I have to turn that data in before I get my name on it?

*edit*

P.S. This is kinda cool :)

if you let us know which general direction you're headed I'm sure some guys will let you know of some cool places to visit on your travels

Heading out to Flyeia Hypai sector - Red Planet. Sure man, pass along any suggestions you might have.

Make sure it's worth your time: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showt...ation-values?p=5486920&viewfull=1#post5486920

Stuff is left unscanned because we wants the CR

(Now you'll no doubt tell me it was a terraformable ringed ELW :) )

lol - no, just small moons so far. I figure as long as they are close to the main star it's not too much of a hassle. I have plenty of jump range, so I figure I'll just take my time and enjoy it :)

I'm jealous. I began an engineer crusade today. No idea how long it'll be before I can take my Annie back out into the black. :'(

I want to see the void near the outer rim, but I also want to see a bunch of lovely rolls on some modules.

I highly recommend an SRV. Scanning and flying close to planets can offer some exciting vistas, but getting down on the surface can provide for some amazing vistas and also quite a bit of fun driving around, scaling mountains, jumping off of those mountains, flying over canyons, or decending to the bottom of canyons in the SRV.

I highly recommend low gravity rocky ice worlds.

Taken from near the summit of a 25km peak two days ago on my way to Colonia:

Thank you.

Payouts have increased greatly, one of the few good things to happen, lately.

Yeah I have mixed feelings about that.

Glad they've increased, but slightly bitter that the 700 million I made from exploring pre horizons would be 7 billion now :(

*notices flight plan conflicts with yours, scrambles to get into Cutter with OP shields so I can run away*

And plz don't bring the shield negating torps. I just want to live. :'(

Well, on the plus side, this galaxy is so large I'd likely never find you :)

I highly recommend an SRV.

I hear you on that, and will next time. This trip is about flying a passenger out, making 15M+ on mission rewards and exploration data, and unlocking Palin. If I continue to have fun on my trip, I will definitely being an SRV next time.

I did run across a nice water world that was worth a scan. Took my passenger on a nice orbital tour around it. Thinking maybe when I get back to the bubble I'll sell the T-9 and buy an Orca.

(Just sitting here in orbit, I wonder what kind of crazy ocean life is down there.)

Next stop - a white dwarf 480 Ly away :)

*edit*

(It turned out to be a white star. I'm new at this :p)

You may not get your name on it if somebody else comes along scans it and then hands the data in before you do.

Haha, yeah, my first time exploring, I scanned a system all by myself, then when I got back and looked at it, it was half shared by another player. We must have handed the data in at the same time or something.

Is it theorized that most bodies would be tidally locked? I would have thought that there were more planets and moons that rotated?
