Ok this is seriously cruel.

Sorry, op, but it seem you got a crash course in why it's a bad PvP game. You can't beat a player interdiction, and there's no mechanic in the game that incentiveses a player not to kill anoter player for no reason. There is admittedly no incentives in the game for a player to do it either, but gankers will be gankers.

@BackToTheMud (sorry i forgot to quote)

CQC is almost a great PvP game imo and shows how great the ship handling translates to an arcade arena shooter.

its just that the main game does not work well for organic PvP because the potential for loss for some people is far greater than it is to others combined with the best case "win" scenario for one side can be not to die, which isnt fun for a lot of people., also personally i WANT ship destruction in elite to hurt and to be something which is the absolute last thing you want to happen so the solution isnt to remove all consequence for ship loss imo. I am not as hardcore as those who wipe their save on ship loss but i do do everything i can to avoid ship loss.

i have had to change that for the on foot stuff however as that just doesnt really work well as a never die kind of game.

but CQC. that is a proper giggle with the right group of people, i just wish FD had put a bit more time into it over the last few years because its so close to being great. it just needs a little more content as well as the ability to make lobbies as well as chuck in some npcs to fill out the group etc, as well as maybe add in a few unlockable CQC cosmetics, increase the payout rewards a bit as well as maybe chuck in an extra 100ARX a week earning potential outside of the 400 weekly for main game.
