Hello, 41 year old, ex gamer... bought my first game in 10 years buying ED...... Have a bit of a bath tub pc..... which was a top of the line machine a few years back... its clock work... but I Just installed team speak and it plays ED just fine.

I have been playing ED since launch day (open), and have progressed as a trader quite happily, but now am looking for a group of like minded individuals, to share the gaming with....

Even if thats just team speak chatter on the other end of the galaxy!!

I have registered and am looking forward to what ever lies ahead.

I have a few questions:
- Do you do a senior citizen discount?
- Can I wear my comfy slippers?
- Am I allowed to nap while super cruising to distant outposts? I like naps. I also like comfy slippers. Have I mentioned that already? Have I mentioned how comfy they are and how often I overshoot my destination while napping at the helm?
- Will I get mocked / penalised / banned for snoring over voice comms?
- Can I wear my comfy sli...Oh, I've asked that one already.

Never mind, I've signed up anyway. So I'll just appologise now for any snoring incidents in advance while I await my application being authorised.

Darn!, I tried registering as I am 56 but at the end you have to verify you are a human being by answering a question, "What Planet are we on" or similar, and I answered Chi Eridani
Been playing Elite too long!

Can I ask if this group considers humans in deep space in reality, are more likely to help each other and be so pleased to see another human being that they stop for a chat, or "Hey!, there's another Human I can kill".
