On the fence? (read this)

Hi to everyone most people on here are playing with and enjoying the Alpha (I know I am) but some people may be on the fence about weather to buy this or not this post is meant to help them decide where it's right for them or not.

You may be asking yourself questions like

1. What is PCoster?

Well it's a Them park management game from the people that made RCT3.

so now you may be thinking oh it's just RCTW . You are quiet wrong it is made by the same people that made RCT3 but it is NOT RCTW that is made by a TOTALLY different company this is PCoster made by the fans for the fans of RCT 3.

2. So why should i by this over RCTW?

Look at the steam reviews of RCTW and the forum and reviews on you tube then look at the reaction to PCoster you will see that PCoster has a much better reaction the RCTW

3. is it on Steam?

No well not yet it may come on in the future but not now

4. It's in Alpha are there lot's of bugs?

No for an Alpha it is very stable and well worth your money and lot's of fun even at this point.

5. Will I enjoy it?

I think so if you have played RCT3 and enjoyed that you will enjoy this if you have not then I would say take a punt on it if you like construction or management games.

6. is there lot of content right now?

There is enough to get you started but there is more coming .

So i hope i have answered your questions and pushed you towards the best construction management game out there.

Can I suggest you edit the thread title a little to add a ? after "on the fence" then people will know it's addressed to them if they are on the fence. At the moment it looks from the title as if you are saying why you are on the fence, when you're not.

Lol yes, simply 'on the fence' without a question mark is implying that you are on the fence, not that its directed at others who may be.

To those people that may be 'on the fence', I have this to say. The very fact that they have made it this far shows an interest in the game and probably have a pretty good idea what it is already. The only question that really needs answering is should they buy it now or wait?

Personally, I think the £49 asking price for the Alpha is a bit steep. it's alot to ask to expect people to pay AAA money for an unfinished Alpha game although some, including myself, chose to do it because we felt it was worth it after seeing gameplay and also have respect for the Devs which have brought us great things in the past and generally, offered good support and forfilled their promises. If thats still too expensive for you however, there is an option to pay £20 and preorder the full game coming later this year. I think that is fantastic value and to anyone who needs to budget carefully, I think this is a better use of your cash.

To the original topic.

Should you buy alpha, wait, or get the other one.

If you enjoy building in sandbox mode, yes get it now. It's an extremely stable Alpha.

If what you were enjoy is the management of the park, wait. There is no management yet. And if you aren't into spending hours building custom buildings you will get bored.

If you enjoy buying things that don't work, being lied to, and love gambling on if it will even get fixed. Then the other one might be for you.

No you can't, I just checked a post I made yesterday and the Edit button is gone.

Thats weird...

I have a thread about confirmed rides, its like a few weeks old but i have edited several times when a new ride has been revealed. Thats even days or weeks after posting it [uhh]
Don't know why it is then.

lol, I wish this forum had a "like" button.

I have alot of problems with this thread, firstly being the fact that I don't think anyone on this forum is "on the fence"
I'm also pretty sure that if people have an account here and browsing the forums, they already know what Planet "Coster" is.

"2. So why should i by this over RCTW?" I don't think people should buy it yet, anyone that does plan on buying it knows that its made by the team who worked on RCT3, btw did you mention it was by the team that made RCT3? yes, you did, the first time, no need to say it twice.

Btw the game does have quite a few bugs, upon loading a save a few days back, I found guests standing on the Rocktopus platform and then walking through the fence into the Que line.

"Will I enjoy it?" if you're into theme park simulation games, then sure.

Well, the forum let you edit the top post for a thread whenever you want, however there is other rules for your second post and beyond. You got 30 min to edit it after your initial posting. After that it is locked.
