On the navigation panel if you select a starport it says that you can check the systems map to confirm which services are provided by this particular starport now I went to the systems map and I couldn't find out anything how do you find out what services are provided by a star port without travelling there

Select the starport in the system map.
Look in the left panel and go to the second tab in (at the top). You will see all the information about the starport, including the facilities it offers.
