On XBOX is Winking Cat Green Santa Jumper missing?

I did receive the Festive Green Paintjob
I did receive the Imperial Courier @ Tryggvason Orbital
I think I received the 30 million. I really didn't check.
I assume I received the Festive Red Flak Launcher and 5B luxury cabin @ Darkes High. I didn't check.

I cannot find the Green Santa Jumper outfit. It does not appear as an "outfit" in holo-me.

What gives? Am I missing something here... or do I need to wait for XBOX legs?

...which at this rate will never happen.

I hope like me you’re not just seeing this. If so is this the cause. I’m so frustrated with Fdevs and this might have pushed me over the edge.

It sort of escapes me how is this their fault?
And didn't they recently (as in 3 months) upgraded the module storage from 120 to 200? Did you reached the cap already? And it is still FDev's fault?

It’s their fault that I had no way of knowing this was needed to receive the reward.
Also them raising the module storage, while that’s nice doesn’t help you get the rewards since you have to do so many scans. So if you’re full, you dont get it and there’s not way of knowing why until you read the post.

You realize its a big enough issue that they went to social media to post about it…its not common sense or obvious. Unless you’re using someones video guide

Sure, you could say that you dont read the forums and you solved the riddles by yourself and you didnt know the reward is a module.
Fair enough.

But, it's your job to make sure you have space in the module storage 🤷‍♂️
They're not managing your inventory, that's on you and it's better to make sure you are never at the cap.
As harsh and blunt it may sound - tidy up the mess in your garage, else it may backfire

Anyway, if you plan open a support ticket to receive the firecracker or the luxury cabin, make sure you keep the attitude, it will certainly help your cause.

Thats a terrible logic to have.
Also while I’m frustrated with the developers, please don’t comment as if I have an attitude towards you or someone on the forums. I’m under the impression we are simply discussing this topic.

Why would a game be designed that it’s events force you to undue or throw away things you worked for, to get a reward?

meaning specifically, I had a FC with a couple of ships and modules some engineered and some there cause I could swap out builds while out. The whole point of the FC was to have a home base per say with functions and features so you could move about without being forced to go back to here or there. Already ticked off that they built in another credit sink onto of the FC purchase and feature credit sink. Oh and don’t forget the credit sink to restock the modules you sell on the

Designing things like this event where instead of unlocking things that can easily be accessed anytime in the future, they chose to give something yet again that’s limited which requires you to hold onto it.

Maybe I just need to finally move on but to me this is another thing that just doesn’t make sense. Are the devs out to punish people or are they trying to draw people into their game and keep them playing. I’m honestly asking cause this is another time I don’t feel like investing time.

i don’t think a ticket works if I can’t decide what modules to depart with. That’s what runs me wrong. I don’t get the logic of this at all.

One thought is it would seem they want us not to max out, but then they keep doing things that add more ?????
Look at all the things you have to hold onto…rewards from this or that mission, power play, event, etc.
And then if like most of us, if you have those you likely did some engineering pre and post so You have to hold onto those things too. I have some cutter engineered stuff that lets me use different shields so I can use the larger slots…then realized this could happen for other things so I keep playing around and now I have 4 or 5 just in case.

Now that one ship for me, at times does mining, combat, passenger and transport. So There are a handful of extras just for that.
Then I had two ships one for just exploring and one for 3 tasks…that had different things.
Then you learn Thargoid hunting needs this or that…so you get those modules cause its a pain to fly back and forth to buy only at select stations spread out. If you want to loot those you’ll need the special cargo so I grabbed a few cause one wasn’t enough.
Power play is another thing I unlocked so I had to buy one of all sizes at least cause after I loose rank I can’t buy more. So for me I didn’t do it for all I but I did more than one.

So on and so forth….200 slots isnt a lot.

You get a reward in certain circumstance - as in perform certain steps and at the end something is dropped in your inventory. IF You Have Space in the Said Inventory

I'm finding this as pretty basic common sense

Since they started to offer Modules as CG rewards it was very clear that one needs inventory space if they want to receive those modules.
No wizardry involved, If you have to receive a module, you need to have space for it in the inventory. That module will not magically increase your Storage limits.

And this is valid for your Personal Locker storage for Odyssey Materials too.
You need to keep it under closed supervision because it's really easy to hit the caps for both Data and Assets... and you may pick a mission where you're supposed to receive a mission item - again, IF you have inventory space. If not, you will fail the mission.

Anyway, it seems that no good deed goes unpunished
or
damned if they do damned if they don't

Well, there is a Module Storage cap. And it's not from today, not from yesterday. It was here when i joined in 2018.
People found ways to work around those caps.

For example i use a selection of Type 10 and Type 9, plus some AspX and other ships to store the modules that i'm not using very often
And we can have unlimited ships.
If you think about a ship as a storage locker, it's not even weird

So, to conclude,
i'm really grateful for the Gifts (also for the Free extra Arx) and the effort they put in a game that requires no subscription to be played, never cease to amaze me.

Are you reading the other parts and understanding what I’m commenting?

or

I should ask have you yourself unlocked some of the power play modules? With that you understand you have to buy those during the time they are unlocked.

Do you understand or remember how long it takes to unlock each?
Do you know you have to buy each size at that time for later use?

then…

Have you unlocked most engineers?

If yes, have you engineered some of your modules?

You also understand doing so, you have to either fly each ship over, engineer or fly some ships over and engineer multiple modules that would then go to storage?

Have you unlocked most guardian modules?

Do you understand every station doesn’t sale them so you have to buy a few modules while there, which go to storage or fly each ship over and commit to one role. Otherwise those modules in part would be added to storage.

just trying to understand who I’m discussing this with

Module storage is not needed for cosmetics.
It is needed for the modules being rewarded so I was curious if, in some way impacted the other was all I had hoped to understand.

Lots of confusion is all because some cosmetics aren’t available for Xbox due to us not having Odyssey. So much so the Fdevs had to make a social media post, I was hoping it was limited to the modules only.

So the moral to the story is.... too bad for console players.

Frontier sure is a sloppy game developer.
No, the moral of the story is they added a fun little holiday event and console cmdrs get a nice 30 million credits, a free courier even if you dont have the rank, a joke-weapon and a luxury cabin. Its pretty darn sad to see people look at that and then become insulting and angry because somebody else got a fake virtual green sweater. Its the kind of jealous behavior most of us grow out of at around the age of 8, really.

Well, so they designed the events to be doable in SRV by Horizons players too.
And they give a nice assortment of gifs, but also gift that will be usable in an expansion that is available for current PC Horizon owners and will be available in the future for Console players too.

And Console players get mad.

😒

Frontier sure is a sloppy game developer.

There was this saying (or something like that):
Don't look a gift horse in the mouth

Someone on another thread made a great suggestion for this next winking cat treasure hunt.

Perhaps the next winking cat cache will re-install my missing fire groups.

Sloppy is as sloppy does.
