Only User Interface visible, black screen behind

When I load up the game, the screen is black after the frontier logo, but the UI is visible and functioning. I can even get into a zoo, but everything behind the ui is black.

I'm using a 2019 MacBook Pro with windows 10 installed via bootcamp. i9 processor, 32gb ram, Vega 20.

Might be a graphics card driver issue, since windows isn't really supposed to be installed on a MacBook. Have you checked that you have the newest version installed?

thanks for the reply. I used the drivers from apple that you install with bootcamp, though it could be out of date. Looks like I can't download drivers for the Vega 20 directly from AMD, but it looks like I might be able to install an unofficial driver though it looks slightly complicated. I will try tomorrow...

Yeah updating the driver worked. Had to use the unofficial driver, but ended up not being too difficult to install. As expected, not amazing frame rate, but it'll do for now.
