I've been playing Planet Zoo for years and only since the last DLC South East Asia Animal Pack it's been crashing. I've reported it and hopefully it's something they can fix.

I've had a few crashes since the xpac too, but it sounds like the OP is having a consistent issue with crashing.

The only suggestion I have off the top of my head is to go into your task manager and under the details tab, right click on the game and select "set priority," then allocate a higher amount of memory to the game. Make sure your computer isn't running other stuff in the background. This game does take a lot of memory, and even computers well within the recommended specs for the game can get bogged down. I don't know how likely it is that memory is your problem, though, since it's happening before you've been playing long enough to have a larger zoo.

Definitely go to the support email LN linked above. IME, the folks at Frontier do get back to you when you have an issue.

Same here. I've been playing since the game was released and have almost 1,000 hours of playtime at this point...and never had crashes until last week's patch. Yesterday I had like 10+ crashes. Always when selling, trading, releasing, and rehoming animals.

It is a lot better so far today, since the update, only had one crash so far. Still 1 more than I used to have though. haha

One crash today so far (8th). Been playing for about 1 1/2. I'd just finished creating a new habitat and was placing animals. Game was paused. :(

I still crash pretty regularly in franchise mode when rehoming, releasing or quick selling...unfortunately.

I've also been replaying career scenarios to get the achievements for hard difficulty, because difficulty setting didn't even exist back when I did them the first time. I've had 0 crashes in that game mode.
