Horizons OP NPCs Part 2- The Anaconda's tale

I sent a simular post about a week or so ago about our Swarming little friends, I have returned with yet another tale to tell....

Once apon a time a day ago, a Brave Anaconda flew into the heat of battle in a conflict zone and triumphed over his enemies without losing Its shields, after getting payed with A large sum or riches It decided to go back for more...Until....

The very second The Anaconda Flew into the zone it was intercepted by 2 Imperial Cutters, 2 vipers and later 2 imperial fighters all at the same time....these vessels decided that they would break away from combat just to kill the Anaconda who at that time fired no rounds or engaged the vessels in any way... The Fighters snipped and followed with Railguns while the two cutters closed in from behind mass locking it and firing volleys of PA class 4 bolts. The slow Anaconda traveling at 300M/s was about to meet it's doom...

The vessels chased the Anaconda 30Km from the zone...they were dedicated to claiming their prize. Only by tricking the NPC vessels with fighters was the Anaconda Able to escape before it was destroyed. The anaconda Lived for another day! and returned with a vengeance and slaughtered them all..... It lived happily ever after..

The moral of this story Folks is WHY THE HELL ARE NPCs SO DAMN FRICKIN UNHOLY GANG****ING DIRTBAGS!!!!!!! I mean seriously I didn't even shoot them and they all came at me.... not to mention extreme accuracy with those PAs and rail Guns..

Fly well commanders! Don't let the NPCs bite!!!

Sounds like you picked a side as soon as you dropped into the CZ. It's always a good idea to wait a good 30 seconds or so before picking your side so that the NPCs have a chance to all target each other and start fighting. Making yourself a valid target while they're all still in target selection mode does tend to result in a lot of attention :D

Aye, you got that right...I usually fly out of the zone and come back in picking them off one at a time...that time I decided to live dangerously. which turned out to be precisely the case haha :D

There are instances where a CZ becomes a swarm, it can happen long after you are in the fight, in the beginning, any time.

Most of the time it's ho-hum, then all hell breaks loose, low-ranked NPC's become impossible to kill, everyone is shooting at you and they will chase you out of the zone; in these instances I've fired off quite a few of my SB's but I try not to run to enjoy the show.

I'll go off to reload and when I come back to the same CZ, it's a shooting gallery, tame NPC's. It must be the RNG at work as well.

I found if you go in w/ a tanked ship, Corvette in my case, these instances happen more often (subjective observation).

I bet you will remember your escape for a while.

And they almost got your Anaconda's Tail![yesnod]

I've been in so many it's hard to remember, but I do recall at least a few that I asked myself "this is a Lo CZ?" when it hit the fan.

I only do High...more fun that way, more things to kill with the chance of a capital ship or two ;)
