Their name MEANS thugs

If they don't wish to be percieved as thugs (ignoring anything they might DO) perhaps they should change their name to "not really goons" or something. If they call themselves thugs, I'll call them thugs too.

Not really. Frankenstein's monster didn't ask to be turned into what he became, and there are many thousands more Goons who are just like every other person playing this game than there are the scant few who want to do nothing but grief people. I'm merely saying that if you people keep painting us to be monsters, and treating us as such, then eventually the well of our goodwill is going to dry up and those of us who are of such a mind will do exactly what you've been accusing us of in the first place.

Given that I had to upload the image to IMGUR, type the text and enter the formatting, even a developmentally-challenged five year old could understand the fact that yes, I saw it. Don't be stupid. Also, if you'd like, I can describe the reasoning behind the logo so deftly created by one of our other members if you'd like. Or even if you don't.

It's a chimp wearing a viking helmet because Big Harry's Monkey Hangout is in the Jotunheim system, which is named for the realm of the Jotunns, the Giants of Norse myth.

The "Goons Ruin Everything" axiom is there by way of parody and mocking the general idiocy surrounding people's reactions when they find out anyone from SA is playing a multiplayer game, followed by the whining and moaning of said same outraged parties.

The lawyer for the WWF wrestler The Ultimate Warrior threatened to sue our forum a long long time ago and he called us 'Goons' and it made us all laugh so much that we called ourselves it ever since.

That is 100% true, could you tell me how that relates to how Goons play Elite?
