Dear Frontier, I request a return of the docking lock clonk sound. It use to bring me joy, now it's gone. On behalf of humanity I urge you, draw a line in the sand, say we will regress the game no more and make progress towards the great journey ahead with a single step. Make that single step the restoration of docking clonk.

I get a very muted electronic fizzley sound when I dock in Odyssey.

The way it was in EDH was wrong! You got the first klonk when you are still 5 meters in the air above the pad, then you got another one when you actually touched down. Totally unrealistic! In EDO you just get a small sound when you stop above the pad, then the normal klonk when you actually touch down. Much better. I actually can’t believe they fixed it, to be honest, but I’m glad they did! Give it another listen with this in mind. You might like it…

I think you’ve misplaced your clonk - I have a very definite clonky clonk as my Cobra touches down, at just the right moment as the landing skids clonk onto the clonk-pad.

For those of us who use a Butt Kicker it's even more annoying because the deflating balloon sound that you now get doesn't even create that satisfying shake as the clamps take hold.
