I was ranking up a couple of days back, when I got a message from a squad mate "I'm under attack by a mamba while trying to mine LTD's in my T7!" ...I went to investigate.
Just the week before that, I saw a noob krait getting attacked by an elite Cmdr at an engineer base)...I saved the noob!
These scenarios can only play out in open, and (as fleetingly as these moments pass) they are what always bring me back!
I will absolutely drop into solo if I'm trading (or whatever) but - open is where the fun is! ❤️

So, now imagine you wouldn't have that possiblity. How does that sound? Wouldn't it "add spice and much needed tension and edge" which is apparently sooo missing from your play? Especially when you would be ganked by a wing of four? Or is it only right when you "spice up" other people's games? When they are returning from their exploration trips in their shieldless AspExes? Think about it for a minute.
EDIT: oh also I am sure you would learn that flying shieldless is stupid, and you should git gud at exploring or some similar drivel. Swatches of vast knowledge to be had.
