o7 everyone,
First time poster long time lurker. First of all I am mainly an Xbox player so keep in mind all this is coming from that point of view. I also know this dead horse has been beaten more than various parts of the human anatomy during their teenage years but I just have to add my two cents.
After playing the game for a few hours in open today on Xbox for the CG and not seeing a single person the solo and private group modes just need to go. This is an MMO and splitting the already small player base up is just bad design. Now I know not everyone wants to participate in PVP combat that is a legitimate concern when getting rid of those modes. so I would propose adding a pvp flagging system like almost every other MMO in the world tends to use. The big crux of such a system is how do you incentivize players to participate in the pvp system and not punish the people that don't want to participate. So I would also propose that at the end of every week if you have kept your PVP flag on for the entire week you get a voucher that you can claim at any material trader for 50 of any grade 5 material. This would be kind of similar to the power play voucher system where it won't stack if you don't claim it every week so you can't just come back after a long hiatus and fill out your materials. But I do think it would solve a few issues this game has. At the end of the day this game is marketed as an MMO and everyone being in different instances makes it feel like a single player game. The only thing that makes the grind in this game remotely bearable is the community interactions.
Now on to the second part. Is there a remote chance in the future that we can either get cross platform play? There just doesn't seem to be a lot of players on Xbox. Failing that would there be the possibility of the account transfer being able to transfer everything not just credits. There are some grinds in this game that are terrible the first time and repeating them makes transferring unappealing at best.
Thanks for listening to my mad ranting.
