Community Event / Creation Operation 'Abyss': Finding and traveling to the lowest possible system

I was just traveling in the void below and thought: "How cool would it be to set up an expedition to look for the lowest possible system we can travel to?" Well, that's what I'm doing.

This journey will be a one-way trip since we will most likely have to boost our FSDs. Several things need to be done for our expedition:

1. Finding the lowest possible system that we can travel to ourselves. We can't trust EDSM to have all the necessary info.
2. Theorycraft and create the best possible jump range for the best ship (Anaconda).
3. Organize the expedition itself.

Is there any interest for such a project?

Hate to steal your thunder, but I've already done this. I have a map of the lowest reaches of the entire core region. I reached Thaae Byoe AA-A h2 at 3433LY below the plane, on a one-way trip. I could be wrong, but I'm 99.9% sure there is nowhere else we can reach with current jump ranges.
