Operation Thunderstruck - Post Thor Destruction Announcement!

Operation Thunderstruck is the ReAegis Coalition's Humanitarian Effort to rescue as many people as we can from the Titans before they catastrophically explode!
I created the Operation when the Galnet News Article in late February said that the "majority [trapped aboard the Titan] have now been rescued, but those remaining may not survive these attacks". I would not just sit idly by while these people were doomed to die. So I immediately got to work making a proposal for Operation Thunderstruck. I chose that name since all the Titans are named after Thunder Gods and I thought it would be funny to name it after a 90's song. I made a spreadsheet to keep track (and later a dashboard ) of all the progress so far and it is good to look back and see how much we have grown.

We've gotten a lot more coverage with the recent Titans which has been super awesome! This event was showcased by CMDR Buur Pit when we reached our goal of 100,000 rescued in total with Titan Indra, and we even did a joint event with Xeno Strike Force at Titan Thor! So far, we have 72 people and 35 different squadrons all working together to rescue as many as we can.

We had a massive turnout this time with over 40 people helping just at Thor alone! Currently, the Total from Thor is a staggering 57,109 making the total from all Titans 162,880!! I'm super proud of everyone involved. It's wild to think how far we've come. With Taranis, we only got a mere 4,000 but now... we have so many more friends helping!

The next Titan, Raijin, awaits and with it a new goal. The next goal for Operation Thunderstruck is 250,000 rescued from the Titans in total. I know we are capable enough to do it. We have a lot more people involved now so we can all work together and get that goal easily. If you would like to get involved, feel free to check out the Discord Server for the ReAegis Coalition:

Hm, so, I have forgotten to mention it thus far but you can consider all of the pods which I collected in the past to be delivered.

I will probably also be present for both of these last two Titans if life/free time permit once they enter meltdown. Perhaps also a couple of 'visits' while they are active since the rescues also seem to be a decent tool for supporting wide-scale clearance (and to me preferable to sabotaging the spire sites or shooting up the poor Orthrus there).

All marked as Delivered. Thanks for participating!

I expect FDev releasing a info chart with all the thargoids killed, pod rescued, tissues farmed, and any other stats for this 2 year war.

And lets see how far we are from the real numbers. But if really dedicated to Pod rescues, most players will know the community-driven initiatives, its only joining the discord and sharing the numbers.

Great work to everybody involved, I can't join weekend events or in the working hours, but reached home in the last 3 hours to see fireworks, but not enough to transfer my Pod Rescuer and install the desired modules without risk of missing the explosion, for only 300-500 pods, so I used the time to end other game in the backlog and free myself to keep working in Cocijo.

I'm not quite sure how all the data gets to you.
Join the discord, and share your efforts.

Also accept Inara, reddit, and I suppose frontier forum PM, but try to have the correct format.

DCOH.watch also know our Fleet Carrier content, and system source, developed for tissues, but working for pods. The Council can see the total number of pods per titan stored in FC.

Only if you run an appropriate plugin and/or journal uploads* through their webpage.

You can also just message Lucida directly on Discord.

*Corrected.

Also game journals directly from FDEV: https://dcoh.watch/contribute

Game journal via Frontier servers
We give you the possibility to share your game journals from Frontier servers directly.
Your game journal is downloaded periodically and automatically from Frontier servers and processed in Overwatch.
We use this data to update systems and stations as well as to collect your contributions to the war efforts such as Thargoid kills, rescues and supplies.

We are following a privacy by design in Overwatch which is why beside the Frontier customer Id and commander name we do not collect any data related to users.

You can authorize us to access your game journals by using the button below. Once authorized, we usually have access to your game journals for about 28 days. After this time expires, you need to grant authorization again if you wish to continue to contribute your data this way.
You can revoke the authorization at any time in the Frontier user portal under Authorised applications.

Well, duh. I actually meant journal uploads but morning brain. Just commonly associate them with inara as it currently is the only site where I upload them.

It's not very clear.
I understand when I login to Inara and allow it to download my logs. That's understandable.
But to download sites from the game servers without my consent? I don't understand that.
I think you didn't click in the link.

ALL request to frontier account data need your login, and give access for a single month, you need to reapply this consent each time. Inara also use this, and stop autoimport feature if your consent expire. Your Frontierstore.net page include all the third party pages with consent, so you can remove at any moment, without waiting 1 month.

The problem is that you didn't research if consent was asked in any step, and only critic using my simple explanation.
Okay. I must have translated that wrong.
You can authorize us to access your game journals by using the button below.

So people who do not upload their logs to INARA and this site will not be included in the statistics even if they save someone.

And yes, having capsules on FC doesn't mean they won't be taken back ;)

Third party websites only know:
1. What we sent using EDMC/EDDiscovery or any of this apps: https://eddn.edcd.io/#software
2. What they download from Frontier servers, when we give our consent (more limited data, but for pod/tissues, is enough).

Most webpages try to do both, if some app, reading your raw journals its better than waiting info from FDev.

Frontier have 0.07% of the galaxy explored, but EDSM only have 0.021069% reported in his main page, because nobody can't extract info from frontier (unless the made some public API, I don't know if we have something working). If you play without this apps sending your data, your discoveries and activities are irrelevant for our big data. You have your name in a system that we don't know if exist, and you affected the factions influence but nobody knew you went here (unless you appear in the station Top5 bigger bounties, for your crimes).

Blame FDev because they have all the info hidden form us, not our tools.

I only use Inara as it keeps me from installing lefty programs on my computer and helps me with junk modules on all my ships.

EDMC is open source :/ You can read it & write own extension. For example I add finally working overlay for Linux. I have there fancy things for exploring, like list of the bio signals and if EDSM knows next system on the route.

I sent a PM to sergMx explaining ALL, Hutton event, how inara work, EDMC source code, EDAstro exploraiton memes, its a big wall of text, like the ones I did in Reddit. 30 minutes writing.... feel better than JustAboutElite, because I go directly to a player that could find it useful.

It's open source, so what?
1. If the program is large enough, it will take a very long time to learn it.
2. An unnecessary program in memory always consumes memory and CPU, even if it is very small.
3. It has been mathematically proven that it is impossible to understand the program on PERL without executing it, in this case, seeing the program code will not give anything.

Thank you.
But I clearly described above, I only need one thing from inara - to show my modules on a bunch of my ships. So that I can find the module I need and move it to another one of my ships.
Commodities, biology and everything else is of no interest to me at all. For some reason I like to get by mostly with the game interface.

Ah, man, you just wasted 30 minutes of your life...
