The Orange Sidewinder error in Elite Dangerous is what Frontier refer to as a “generic error” with your connection to the Elite server. This message typically refers to errors when your CMDR cannot be loaded.

In order to fix this, Frontier recommend restarting your router as well as your machine (PC / Xbox / PS4) in order to fully refresh the connection. Wait at least five minutes and then try and log in once more. If this doesn’t fix things, Frontier will usually move your CMDR into another system to get you back into the game, and you should log a support ticket.
 
Here's the thing. The CGs in Eurybia are 100% combat. No cargo, no transport and no rares either

But there are 135 carriers there.
 
Its not FC its the SHIPS that they enable to jump into an instance at the same time all at once is not being balanced...
IF the FC were not in system the issue will still show up Bacause instead of them all trying to go from FC - SC jump in a system there all still going to hammer the servers creating an instance but this time from another System to system jump request and when all those ship hit the same server its still going to crap out...

This was all ready shown on the previous CG by the fact that FC numbers were lower on friday than sunday which had even more FC but PS4 users suffered orange sidewiners repeatly even after full shut down and reboots but then never had any on saturday or sunday even with INCREASED FC numbers...
This was because LESS ships were online but even more FC were on Sunday trying to full fill the rush with systems in boom...

Its a server failure under to many at the exact time users changing and requesting a new instance....

I haven't had any problems so far with error codes during the CG. Im on ps4
So if some PS4 CMDRs are okay (like you) yet some other CMDRs are not, I would assume it's ISP/router related, and FDev need to be provided the relevant info from those CMDRs having issues (via support ticket) so that QA can resolve said issues.

No its the server farm those specific user are directed too thats dieing crapping out... Fdev solution has been to lower the coding bandwidth for the game instead of assigning better stable server code...
 
I skipped thursday of the CG so that i means i did not get assigned to the game when the PS4 allocation is set to lowest share of the good servers... i played on friday but made sure I played at a not popular time by checking open and there was naff all on...
I then played again when most of EU PS4 players don't as you run the risk of meating USA DSL users lag fest at that time..
 
Make CG systems permlt locked. Said it before, will say it again.
It's more fair to late-comers, to pirates, and traders and combat pilots can still jump their carriers in the next closest systems.
And it will gank those orange sideys.
Its still going to crap out all you do is get every one stuck looking at the Hyperspace jump loading loop instead...
edit =(and thats worse as it takes longer to fail at least the other ends quicker)
 
Have you submitted a support ticket with your info yet?
They did not do any thing the last 3 times why would 4th time make any difference...
Its a known issue there side and I expect they will again release a patch a lot later that adds even more changes to lower bandwidth code thats still going to be unstable... there aim in other patches is to lower bandwidth costs players not playing is going to help with that...

Same as all the others who tried not there issue but it is, connection issue, report solved... The support system does not have any of my tickets even solved is blank like they been deleted...

Okay, so what makes you say the below then, when FDev apparently haven't said anything of the sort to you?
