Orange Sidewinder..

is anyone else getting orange sidewinders error codes when they try to enter the game? I’ve been unable to play since about midday. I’ve validated the files on steam and that didn’t help. I’m currently reinstalling it via the frontier loader to see if that does anything.

Yes. I haven't been able to play at all (apart from the training mission). I've been getting Orange Sidewinders all night and all day.

play about 10 minutes

did this about 8 times now,...maybe wait a few days (weeks) until frontier fixed servers

I just got my first one attempting to relog into the game while landed on a ice planet. Tried one more time, ditto.

Yes, every single time I've attempted to play Odyssey today since about 10h00 UK time. AND Horizons, which is annoying me more at the moment to be honest.

The same problem. I played Odyssey at 08:00 UTC today.
Then I logged off. And since 11:00 UTC having Orange Sidewinder errors.
Impossible to connect to HORIZONS also...

Odyssey, Horizons, and even the original Elite. I’ve been locked out since yesterday evening, about 12 hours now.
I assumed it was related to me trying to land on an atmo world so I tried fixing that with the other clients. I guess that isn’t it, and it’s just networking woes.

I took the day off to play. I fell through a station wall and into space, and it's been Orange Sidewinder ever since.

Support won't be able to help you I guess. It's the servers and it's a lot of people having issues. Getting Orange Sidewinders myself for a few hours now.
I guess it will be okay tomorrow?

It's probably the account database, one of my accounts is fine yet the other orange sidewinder.

It's an old error than can occur then cmdr acting as "stuck" and ofter while atempting to go on a planet surface. Apparently support repair this buy moving you into another system from what i've read on forums.

Despite it not working for others, I gave Horizons a shot. It worked for me. I did not get the Orange Sidewinder error and was put back in my ship. I jumped to another system and went back to Odyssey. It worked, and worth a try.
